I had the Buffalo chicken salad and some boneless wings and fries. So much chicken on the salad I couldn't even get to the wings! Really good.. amazing seasoning on everything and the fries! Highly recommend
An overall enjoyable experience here. Food was very satisfying: The Detroit-style calzone was really good as was the parlor style margherita pizza. Only drawback was the drinks. My lemonade cocktail drink was unflavorful and the margarita was just Ok. Would come back if we visit Morgantown again!
My favorite pizza on earth. I genuinely don't think anything can top it. It's so good I don't even have the words to describe it. Wings are always great and fries are crazy good. Idk what the seasoning is but holy moly. Ranch 100/10 & I'm picky about ranch.
Lefty's Place in Morgantown offers the best opportunity for me to have pizza similar to what I had growing up in the midwest. Lefty's calls it Tavern style, back home it was St. Louis style. I call it delicious! Thin, crispy, saucy and loaded with cheese and toppings! Cut into squares and none of those annoying pizza bones to deal with. This is really great Pizza! The pie pictured is fully loaded, of course.
Just had dinner here. It was excellent. We had the bone in wings with the lemon hot sauce and the Betty White tavern pizza. Both were excellent. We sat at the bar and our server Kaylee was great too. Highly recommend this place!
This place was fantastic. We tried boneless wings, fries, and the Detroit style pizza. We had the Buffalo ranch wings which were absolutely delicious. The wings were my favorite. I also loved the seasoning on the fries and they were crispy. The pizza was good. We had the Capo and it was great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. Service was good.
Easily some of the best pizza and wings I've had in Morgantown. The ranch was awesome too. Small place so make sure you get there before dinner rush. A must try!
I don't even know where to begin. The food is spectacular! Everything is so fresh and always served warm. The Detroit style pizza is TO DIE FOR. Their sauce is sweet and tangy which provides a flavorful experience. The pepperoni rolls had some melty cheese and were the perfect combination of breading, cheese, and pepperoni. The pepperoni salad was delicious! The lettuce was crisp and flavorful. No wilted lettuce in this salad! The service was great! The wait staff is so friendly, quick, and have great recommendations. The owner was even out talking to customers, making sure everyone was happy. The ambiance was very enjoyable. Everything is clean, upbeat, and modern. It is a small sit down restaurant but the bar is pretty large. The bad stools are really comfortable. They also play fun and upbeat music. Loved this place. Will definitely be going back!
Super bowl Sunday, Tony and I found ourselves in Morgantown. After enjoying Appetizers at Wicked Water Saloon, we decided to drive over to Lefty's Place for some Detroit Deep Dish Pizza. We found it hidden in a shopping center behind Suncrest Cafe. There is plenty of ample paved parking. Inside it's average size with about a dozen tables & chairs. Love the decor! The staff friendly and attentive. Tony ended up with 2 Budweisers and I had my Coca Cola. We ordered the small (8"x10") Detroit Deep Dish Pizza....it was loaded with sauce served on top. Very delicious pizza and definitely different but still great pizza. Highly recommend.....go get you some!!!!
